Manufacture of a target with lights and sensors to work on psychomotor functions.

General description of the project

Development and fabrication of an interactive target equipped with lights and sensors to promote psychomotor stimulation. This device allows users to work on hand-eye coordination, reaction time, and movement accuracy through personalized games and challenges.

The configuration and difficulty levels of the target were adapted to meet the different needs of users, following the recommendations of professionals. In addition, accessibility features such as color codes, pictograms, and sensitivity adjustments were integrated to ensure an inclusive experience.

Technical breakdown of the project

Two twin cabinets were assembled with a design adapted to stimulation and inclusive play. Each cabinet has several holes of different sizes on the front and a basket at the top, allowing balls to be thrown in various ways depending on the user’s abilities and preferences.

When one of the balls is introduced through one of the holes, it hits the back of the cabinet and activates a vibration sensor, which is connected to Govee LED lights that light up immediately. This provides a visual and motivating positive reinforcement for the player, encouraging active participation and immediate response during the activity.
