Areas of action
Study of the needs of the CAPDs
- Visit to the facilities and interviews with the technical team.
- Analysis of the possibilities of using new technologies in the CAPDs.
- Assessment of users’ needs.
Supply and adaptation of equipment
- Purchase and supply of the agreed technological devices.
- Adaptation of technological equipment according to users’ needs.
- Search and configuration of specific software for the identified needs.
- Creation of personalized content and development of new applications and functionalities.
Specific training for professionals
- Delivery of in-person training sessions upon request from the centers.
- Creation of a virtual classroom with personalized and adapted educational materials.
- Availability to resolve questions and technical issues.
- Support in the creation of content adapted to emerging needs.
Analysis, documentation and communication
- Evaluation of the application of new technologies in the centers.
- Analysis of the needs met and the difficulties encountered in the use of technologies.
- Preparation of a purchasing guide and a report on adapted content.
- Drafting of a best practices guide for the proper use of devices.
File 76/2023 of the Consellería de Política Social e Xuventude da Xunta de Galicia, awarded to the Universidade da Coruña and formalized on 06/11/2023, aims at the SUPPLY OF HIGH-TECH EQUIPMENT MODIFIED OR SPECIFICALLY MANUFACTURED FOR THE EXPERIMENTATION, STUDY AND DEVELOPMENT OF ITS APPLICATION IN CENTERS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES of the Xunta de Galicia, with funding from the Plan de Recuperación, Transformación e Resiliencia, financed by the European Union – NEXT GENERATION EU.
